The real ps3 controller
It's official, Sony has ditched the "boomerang" prototype controller for the PS3 which was revealed during last year's E3.
The new controller keeps the familiar design language of the PSX family of controllers but loses the cords. Its a wireless (via bluetooth) controller that also includes motion sensors for three dimensional control.
This leaves Microsoft as the only manufacturer without a motion controller..these are the consequences of being first to market.
