Time Warner is quietly rolling out a new feature on its digital cable service for home subscribers called "Start Over" which allows subscribers to restart, rewind, and pause television programming.

The service doesn't support on-demand programming as this feature is intended to be used with live programming, but its interesting to see DVR hardware based services placed on the network side of the operation.
