Tivo Series3 by september?
Engadget is speculating that the Tivo Series 3 recorder (HD capable) will be made available sometime in the 4th quarter, possibly as early as September.
It looks like the cat is out of the bag based on a Tivo sponsored contest for American Idol where the grand prizes is a Series3 DVR with lifetime service. The total value of the Series3 plus lifetime service (which, by the way, was eliminated earlier thisw month) is $1,500!
