passengers would rather type than talk..
an article in today's register, talks about how a recent survey of airline passengers indicated that they would prefer that airlines allow inflight sms and data access over talk services with their mobile phones.
is this a case of where the consumers may actually win? while the networks would love the "roaming revenue", consumers and other industry groups continue to lobby to change the ban on in-flight mobile services and limit it only to silent usage.
