playboy.com is making free content available to psp owners. owners of today's hottest multimedia device can download a zip file of scantilly clad owmen for free along with a video clip featuring "cyber girl." if you want to see naked women, you can spend $19.99 on a cyberclub membership.
how could this happen you ask? well, when sony opened the door to open standards, they left the door wide open for anyone to provide content for teir system. you wont be able to make games, but you can offer anythign you want in video, photo, and sound formats.
the multimedia features of the psp, combined with the developing pod cast trend is going to create a packet based culture that marketers will be sure to jump on.
