are mobile data services too complicated to use?

there has been a lot of speculation that enhanced mobile services or mobile data is too hard to access through consumer mobile devices such as cell phones. its a multi-layer issue as the reasoning for this difficulty could be attributed to: hardware design issues (lack of intuitive input devices), software issues (think of the motorola cell phone interface), data connectivity (accessing exchange, IMAP vs. POP), or the networks themselves.

a recent survey from WACOM finds that 76% of consumers find mobile data to hard to access.
